游学古已有之，孔子（Confucius）恐怕是游学界的鼻祖（pioneer），带着门徒周游列国，遍览大川，拓展眼界，增进学识，结交名流，快意人生。

现在，出国游学，成为白领新宠。游学，不是简单去国外插旗，天天用照片刷朋友圈。

而是背着书包，去世界各地短期游历学习，玩耍和学习同步进行。世界这么大，他们不光想看看，还想顺便学点文化。

据英孚教育海外游学留学部中国区业务拓展总监Frances Lin介绍，越来越多已经具备一定独立经济基础的80后白领选择出国进行短期游学（study tour overseas, enabling people to live and study abroad for a short period of time），即所谓的“壮游”。

Frances Lin, China expansion director of International Language Centers of Swedish education company EF Education First, told China Daily that she was surprised to find the number of Chinese professionals taking the company’s overseas study tours has kept increasing by 40 to 50 percent each year since such programs were first introduced five years ago.

“我们的白领游学项目介绍到中国来仅仅是五年前的事。然而在这五年中，我们惊讶地发现，白领游学的业务每年都呈现40%到50%的增长，”Frances Lin说。

游学：新的生活方式

“Thanks to the increasingly open market and environment in China, a study tour overseas is having its moment among Chinese professionals,” Lin said. “Heading overseas and studying there for a month or two is evolving from pure study to a kind of lifestyle, which is needed and enjoyed not only by children, but also by adults.”

最近几年白领游学的流行，与当前中国留学市场和环境的开放性密不可分。留学正从单纯的进修学习，转变为一种生活方式。

白领出国游学的原因和目的多种多样，有的是任性的工作中途休息，进行为期三个月的“迷你间隔”（mini gap year）。有的经营公司、做贸易，想通过海外游学寻找机会和灵感。有的可能打算移民海外，正在考虑移居目的国，借出国游学的机会深入踩点。

任性游学奶奶

“我曾经接触过一位65岁的天津籍女士，是一名企业的退休高管（a retired senior manager of an enterprise in Tianjin）。选择出国游学，仅仅是因为不想在家带孙子，想挑自己喜欢的、环境好的地方去待一阵子。”Lin说。

According to Lin, most professionals choosing to take overseas study tours are aged 30 to 35 and are in a rising period in their career.

总体来说，白领游学的主流仍旧是年龄在30至35岁之间、事业处于上升期的一人群。

“They choose to have a study tour, rather than a pure overseas travel because they have clear objectives, such as enlarging their professional visions or expanding connections through the tour,”

他们选择游学而不是单纯的出国旅游因为他们有明确的目标，比如通过游学扩展他们的专业视野或者关系网络。

For example, some professionals running a business or trading with companies overseas might use the tour to survey the local market and search for new opportunities.

比如，那些经营公司或者公司有海外业务的，就可以借着游学的机会对当地市场进行调研寻求新的商机。

For these people, a study tour would better cater to their needs than pure travel because people can have professional courses that are helpful to their work and experience local life in in-depth way.

对于这些人来说，游学比单纯的旅游更能满足他们的需求，他们上一些专业的课程可以更好的对于他们的事业同时深度的体会当地人的生活。

游什么？又学什么？

通常白领游学的学习内容，除了基础的语言课（language courses），还会有一些专门为职场人士设计的职场发展课程（courses on career development）。

有的游学项目还会组织观光等富有当地特色的活动，帮助职场人士在较短时间内熟悉游学目的地，产生更多融入感。有的游学项目也会在结业时组织一些测验，并为学员颁发成绩单和结业证书（certificates）。

游学党爱往哪扎堆？

The destination depends on different needs and personal references, and top choices are the United Kingdom and the United States.

欧美高校云集风景的优美的城市是游学党的首选。受国内白领、职场人士欢迎的海外游学目的地主要集中在一些英语国家，如英国的伦敦、曼彻斯特；美国的纽约、芝加哥、迈阿密，还有新西兰、加拿大等。

But some non-English-speaking destinations with beautiful scenery, such as France, Germany and Italy, are becoming increasingly popular.

此外，赴小语种国家的游学，如法国、德国、意大利，也受到越来越多职场人士的青睐。

游学只能城里人玩吗？NO！

一般而言，白领游学没有非常严格的门槛，是向所有职场人士开放的。详情可以咨询提供相关游学项目的公司。相关公司会根据职场人士的预算、游学目的、希望学习的语种及可用于游学的时间长度等因素，为学员“量身定做”海外游学计划（make a tailored plan for their study tour）。

She said professionals usually prefer tours that last eight to 12 weeks.

Lin说白领游学的时长平均为8-12周，即报名3个月以内短期游学的比较多。

The cost for each person per week, including tuition, accommodation and meals, is about 6,000 yuan ($900). The expense may range among destinations and for different after-school activities, Lin said.

至于游学的花费，Lin告诉中国日报，以英孚的白领海外游学项目为例，包括课程费、当地寄宿家庭（host family）住宿和部分餐费，每位学员每周的花费大约在6000人民币左右。具体的花费还要视不同的游学目的地、所选择的住宿类型，以及学员在当地参与课外活动的情况而定。
