1.掌握以下6组易混副词.

( 1)how long, how soon，how often 和how far①how long"多久，多长时间”,对一个持续的时间段提问，常用“for 时间段”和“since 时间点”回答。

How long have you been in China?

一For three months.

---你来中国有多久了?

---有三个月了。

②how soon“多快，多久以后”,对一个短暂性动作提问,用于一般将来时的句子中，常用“in 段时间"回答。

--How soon will he come back?

--In five minutes.

--他多久才能回来?

--五分钟后。

③how often“多长时间一次"，对频率提问，常用“once，twice,three times a week等"回答。

--How often do you visit your grandparents?

--Once a week.

--你多久去看望你的祖父母一次?

--周一次。

④how far"多远”,对距离提问。如:

----How far is it from your home to your school?

----About two kilometers.

---你家离学校有多远?

---大概两千米。

(2)hard和hardlyhard意为“努力地，辛苦地，剧烈地，猛烈地”，是程度副词;hardly意为“几乎不”，是否定副词。如:

We should study hard as students.

作为学生，我们应该努力学习。

I can hardly catch up with you.Can you walk a little more slowly?我几乎跟不上你了,你能走慢一点吗?

(3) much too和too much

①much too意为“非常,极其，太”,much和too都是副词，much修饰to，用以加强语气，中心词是too，much too修饰形容词或副词原级;

②too much意为“太多”,中心词是much, too修饰much,以加强语气,too much修饰不可数名词，与too many相对,too many修饰可数名词。如:

The skirt is much too dear.这条裙子太贵了。

Please don't eat too much ice cream.It's bad for your heath不要吃太多的冰激凌。它对你的身体不好。

There are too many people in the supermarket. 超市里人太多了。

(4)too,as well，also和either

too,as well和also用于肯定句,too和as well多用于口语，一般放在句末，而also多用于书面语，一般放在 句中与动词连用。

either 用于否定句,往往放在句末。如:

He went there too.他也去那儿了。

He didn't go there either.他也没有去那儿。

I like you as well.我也喜欢你。

I also went there.我也去那儿了。

(5) too，enough和so

①too意为“太，很”，用于“too..to...结构，表示否定意义“太....... 而不能……;

②enough意为“足够”,用于“形容词/副词原级 enough t..结构，表示“足够..... .能.... ;

③so意为“如此”,用于“so..…that..…"结构，表示“如此...……以致力于…....”如:

The man is too old to look after himself.

这个人年纪太大了，照顾不了自己。

The boy runs fast enough to win the game.

这个男孩跑得足够快，能赢得比赛。

The camera is so expensive that I can't afford it..油供来思这个照相机太贵了,我买不起。

(6) already ,yet和still

①already 表示某事已经发生，主要用于肯定句;

②yet表示期待某事发生，主要用于否定句和疑问句;

③still表示某事还在进行,主要用于肯定句和疑问句，有时也可用于否定句。如:

We've already watched that film.

我们已经看过那部电影。

I haven't finished my homework yet.

我还没有完成我的作业。

He still works until late every night.

每天晚上他仍然工作到很晚。

2.兼有两种形式的副词（6组）(1)close与closelyclose意思是“接近”;closely意思是“仔细地”。如：

He is sitting close to me.

W atch him closely.

(2)late与latelylate意思是“晚”;lately意思是“最近”。如:

You have come too late.

What have you been doing lately?

(3) deep与deeplydeep意思是“深”，表示空间深度;deeply常表示感情上的深度，“深深地”。如:

He pushed the stick deep into the mud.

Even father was deeply moved by the film.

(4)high与highlyhigh表示空间高度;highly表示程度,相当于much。 如:

The plane was flying high.

I think highly of your opinion.

(5)wide与widelywide表示空间宽度;widely意思是“广泛地"，“在许多地方”。如:

He opened the door wide.

English is widely used in the world.

(6)free与freelyfree的意思是“免费”freely的意思是“无限制地"。如:

You can eat free in my restaurant whenever you like.
