文学翻译贵在“传神”。所谓“传神”，就是把原文的意思表达得非常准确，意境展现得非常逼真、鲜活，让人读后产生一种拍案叫绝的冲动。要实现这一目标，除了具备深厚的语言功底，学习和掌握一定的翻译技巧也是非常有益的。
怎样翻译下面的英语句子？怎样翻译才比较传神？
Deke actually smiled, his wrinkled face looking like an unmade bed.
迪克把14位宇航员召集在一起，准备发布重要信息。
Training continued nonstop, although we weren't quite sure for exactly what. We all went up to Boston for some MIT familiarization on computer guidance systems, then over to Bend, Oregon, for more intensive geology training. While we were out there, Deke herded the Fourteen into a motel room and actually smiled, his wrinkled face looking like an unmade bed. 这个句子并不复杂，理解上也没有什么困难。这里考验的是读者的汉语功底——能不能把Deke actually smiled的意境传神地展现出来。如果我们简单地翻译成“实际上迪克在微笑”，就显得过于平淡，缺乏艺术的美感。
迪克脸上竟挂起了笑容，满是皱纹的脸就像还未整理的床铺。
这里的“迪克脸上竟挂起了笑容”就非常传神。
